MASTER BATHROOM REDESIGN: before and after
Our clients wanted to update their current master bathroom and create a modern, "spa-feel" and functional space. The most obvious changes here include new linear grain cabinets, light fixtures, serene light wall color and tile instead of carpet. This is exactly what our clients had in mind.
There also is a less obvious change in this bathroom that is a major functional improvement. It now includes a “wet room”: a combination of the tub and shower behind a glass enclosure. We love the idea of having these behind one glass partition because it is functional as well as aesthetically pleasing. This creates an open area around the tub so that it feels less cramped and is highly practical as the water splashing out of the tub goes directly to the shower drain so mopping the wet floor is not necessary. This solution is economical too, as there is no need to tile the shower back wall!
